In this series of webinars, Keith Quinn, SSSC Learning and Development Manager (Digital Learning), outlines how you can develop your skills and make the move into digital learning.
The first session provides a starting point with the fundamentals of teaching online. Session two explores the underlying principles and theories for effective digital learning before moving on to look at the practicalities of designing effective digital learning. Finally, in session three you will learn how to evaluate the impact of the digital learning experiences you provide.
To earn this badge you will need to:
- watch the recordings of all three webinar sessions (1 hour 30 minutes)
- tell us what you learned in these webinars and give examples:
a) from the first webinar (100 words minimum)
b) from the second webinar part one and part two (100 words minimum)
c) from the third webinar (100 words minimum).
- tell us how what you learned will contribute to your approach to design and implementing digital learning in your organisation (200 words minimum).
You must achieve both the Getting started with Open Badges and Writing evidence for Open Badge applications badges before you apply for this one.
You will need to provide at least 500 words in response to the questions you were asked in the criteria for this badge. Make sure you clearly indicate which question you are responding to in each part of your evidence submission.
If you want to use a blog or ePortfolio entry as evidence, you might find our guide to preparing and publishing your evidence useful. We will also accept audio or video statements if you prefer these formats.
Please remember, the evidence you provide will be viewable by anyone who you show your badge to. Do not include confidential or private information within your statement.
