Improving lives: participant

Participants at the conference will have the opportunity to learn about:

  • the difference that the childhood practice award is having on practice and on the outcomes for children, young people and families in Scotland through sharing examples
  • how childhood practice works and is making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people
  • the emerging role of childhood practice staff in undertaking research in early years and childcare work.

This is the first of three Open Badges available to people who participated in the event. If you are able to tell us what you learned, how you intend to apply your learning and share it with colleagues following the conference, you can apply for the Improving lives: your learning and Improving lives: in practice badges.

The conference is organised by the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC), in partnership with Education Scotland as a Scottish Learning Festival Extra event.
