View all badgesThe best way to make sure what you have learnt makes a difference to your skills and work is to put it into practice as soon as possible after you have learnt it. Applying something you have just learned in your work successfully is called learning transfer and it should be your objective every time you undertake a new learning activity.
To earn this badge you will need to:
- watch our short video Learning transfer (3 minutes)
- explain, in your own words, why it is important to put your learning into practice as soon as possible (50 words minimum)
- tell us about three things you will do to put your learning into practice and avoid forgetting about it next time you undertake some form of learning (100 words minimum)
Applications that do not meet these criteria or the prerequisites below will be returned.
You must achieve both the Getting started with Open Badges and Writing evidence for Open Badge applications badges before you apply for this one.
You will need to write a statement of at least 150 words or provide a link to an audio/video equivalent answering both questions asked in the criteria above. The evidence you provide will be viewable by anyone who you show your badge to, please do not include confidential or private information within your statement.
