Leadership capability feedback

Leadership Capability feedback is a powerful developmental method which involves you receiving feedback from people whose views are considered helpful and relevant. You’ll also assess yourself using the same feedback form. Respondents can be your peers, managers, staff, team members, people using services, carers, other professionals – in fact anyone who comes into contact with you and has opinions/views about you.

Criteria

With the support of a supervisor or mentor, use the Leadership Capability Feedback Tool to:

  • reflect on your own perceptions about your leadership
  • invite feedback from colleagues and people who use your service
  • identify your leadership strengths and areas for improvement.

Prerequisites

None. This badge does not require you to hold any other badges.

Evidence

You will need to provide a short written statement, up to 100 words, about your experience of using the tool. You can provide the statement on the badge application form or provide a link to your own blog/portfolio.
